Akhuwat Finland is a volunteer-driven initiative. While we strive to assist everyone with warmth and dedication, all support services are subject to volunteer availability and cannot be guaranteed in every case. Please keep the following in mind:

Services such as key pickup, airport/train pickup, city tour, and official guidance are only offered if a volunteer is available.

Your arrival information will only be shared with volunteers if you register at least _1 week prior to arrival.

If you register later than 1 week before arrival, we cannot guarantee that a volunteer will be available to assist you.

You will receive a confirmation about volunteer availability 2 days before your arrival in Finland. If no volunteer is available, you will need to make your own arrangements.

Akhuwat Finland is not liable for missed appointments, housing issues, or delays related to your arrival or settlement. Please ensure you have backup plans in case no volunteer is available.

We highly encourage newcomers to remain active in our WhatsApp and Facebook groups to get peer support and up-to-date advice, especially if one-on-one help is not available.

Due to limited resources, priority may be given to families, students with no local contacts, or those arriving during high-traffic periods (e.g., August–September).
